Unity Day & Spirit Week

We’re celebrating Unity Day on October 21 and keeping the celebration going all week with Unity Spirit Week! All students are invited to join the fun—see the attached schedule for each day’s spirit theme.

Throughout the week, classrooms will share videos and read-alouds that highlight kindness, acceptance, and inclusion, helping students explore ways to make everyone feel welcome, valued, and connected at Salem. Thank you for helping us spread kindness!

Our annual Blood Drive is coming up on Friday, October 23rd, and we are excited to team up with Guggenheim Elementary School at St. Peter's!

___________

Calling All Little Doctors! 🩺

Fifth graders can help greet donors, hand out snacks, and write thank-you cards in 30-minute shifts. Parent volunteers are needed for one-hour supervision shifts—students can only participate when their shift has parent coverage. Parents may supervise any shift and are responsible for their child’s drop-off and pickup.

Sign up students & parent volunteers here! Families are also encouraged to donate blood!
